How Does OptiFuel Work?
According to promotional materials, OptiFuel works by connecting to the vehicle’s ECU (Engine Control Unit) through the OBD2 port. The ECU controls various aspects of engine performance including fuel injection, ignition timing, and air-to-fuel ratio.
The device reportedly learns the driver’s habits over time. Some advertisements claim that after approximately 150 to 200 miles of driving, the system adjusts vehicle performance for greater fuel efficiency.
