M27 to inna sprawa, bo ta broń ma zastąpić karabinki M4 w służbie USMC, a określona została jako karabin maszynowy żeby rząd się nie czepiał, że M4 to przecież dobra broń. Co do powazniejszego gdybania to w ciągu tych 50 lat najprawdopodobniej zostaną wprowadzone systemy wspomagania żołnierzy (sztuczne mięśnie i takie tam :biggrin: ), także masa sprzętu nie będzie odgrywała dużej roli i lepszym rozwiązaniem będą kaemy z zasilaniem taśmowym lub z magazynków o dużej pojemności, z szybkowymienną lufą.
