Z umundurowania pustynnego Włosi używali/używają w Afganistanie starsze "Somalia" oraz nowsze "Desertica Vegetata". Obydwa znacząco odbiegają od Belgijskich. Potwierdzenie jest tutaj (zdjęcie nr 7).
